Lost ape found in Toronto’s financial district by mangomoose

Due to devastating effects of the bushmeat trade, our closest living relative, the bonobo, is almost lost forever.  The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) aims to raise awareness of this preventable tragedy through an attention grabbing education campaign launching on June 29 in Toronto.

A costumed “mother ape” roaming the streets of Toronto’s financial district looking for her missing baby will kick-off WSPA’s campaign.  The month-long initiative will also feature a take on the “lost dog” flyers, with posters up around the city aimed at raising awareness of the plight of bonobos, as well as bears (tortured as part of brutal bear baiting events) and whales (thousands hunted and killed every year).

“The extinction of the bonobo is a very real possibility in our lifetime; we want to draw attention to this fact and to the needless suffering endured by bears and whales around the world.  People need to know what is happening and how they can stop it” says WSPA Canada’s Executive Director, Josey Kitson.

To take action visit WSPA’s website at and text WSPA to 30333 to donate $5.

Join the World Society for the Protection of Animals (and our mother ape) on June 29th 2011, 11:30am to 4:30 pm at the  northwest corner of King St. & Bay St. for the start of the campaign.

This will be a great photo/video opportunity.

In partnership with H2 Central Marketing and Communications, Mango Moose Media participated in 6 street team promotions from July to September to unveil Brampton Transit’s Zum.  Zum is a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system that operates between downtown Brampton and York University.

Using various promotional items such as waterbottles, a video booth courtesy of Gabzebo and fun games such as Plinko, our street team reached thousands of Brampton citizens.  Reps hit the Brampton Farmer’s Market, York University and the new Bramalea Bus Terminal to spread the word that Zum is the newest, most efficient bus system in all of Southern Ontario.

Wearable Banners are a spectacular new way to make your advertising mobile and get your brand noticed.  Wearable Banners are composed of a lightweight backpack combined with an inside pocket for storage.  The banner is easy to set up and take down with its retractable poles.

These banners are perfect for promotional events.  Because the banner is attached to the backpack, it allows the wearer’s hands to be free to pass out brochures, coupons, or other promotional products.  Check out the photos below and enjoy the freedom and effectiveness of mobile advertising.

The Gift of Golf at Taste of the Danforth! by mangomoose

Mango Moose recently partnered with The Gift of Golf to distribute tissue packs to attendees of the Taste of the Danforth.

Reps encouraged Torontonians to ditch the lame coffee mug gift and instead consider buying gifts that golfers really want.  The Gift of Golf allows gift-givers to purchase gift cards on their website so that the recipient can go online and choose to use it on the many Golf Rounds, Driving Range passes and Stay ‘N Play Packages featured on thegiftofgolf.ca.

Tissue packs are a great way to advertise your brand.  I mean, who wouldn’t want a free tissue pack?
